# Jesus Saves church

> A global, non-denominational community of Jesus followers. We empower Christians everywhere — online, in person, or anywhere — to follow Jesus in a way that shines bright and changes the world. No money collected. No paid leaders. Modeled after the early church in Acts 2.

## Mission

We are a community around the world — meeting in person, online, in coffee shops, on hikes, in living rooms, on every continent. We exist to empower Christians across the world to follow Jesus in a way that shines bright and changes this world for good.

## Core Message

Jesus didn't come to start a religion — He came to set us free. (John 8:36)

We LOVE God. We LOVE people. We FOLLOW Jesus. That's it.

## What We Believe (Truth vs. Lies)

- "Showing up on Sunday makes you a Christian" → Following Jesus does.
- "Give more money, get more blessings" → God's not a vending machine.
- "Be a good person, and you'll get to heaven" → You can't earn what's already paid for.
- "Follow the rules, and you're good" → Religion does not equal relationship.

## Core Values

- We do not take money from members or visitors.
- No one is paid; there is no senior pastor or staff.
- Global and non-denominational. One Lord, one faith, one baptism.
- Daily practice — not Sunday-only.

## What We Do (Acts 2:42)

1. Communion — Daily remembrance. (Luke 22:19)
2. Worship — A daily posture. (John 4:23-24)
3. Prayer — Without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
4. Evangelism — Tell people, show people. (Mark 16:15)
5. Discipleship — Make followers, not fans. (Matthew 28:19-20)
6. Breaking Bread — Real tables, real people. (Acts 2:46)

- The Father — God, Author of life.
- The Son — Jesus Christ, Savior and Lord.
- The Holy Spirit — Comforter and Guide.
- You — open invitation.

## How the First Believers Responded

When people heard that Jesus is both Lord and Christ and asked what to do, Peter told them to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, with the promise of the Holy Spirit. See Acts 2:36-38.

Jesus Saves church does not teach a sinner's prayer as the biblical conversion response. We point people to Jesus's command to make disciples and baptize them (Matthew 28:18-20) and to Peter's answer in Acts 2.
